Fernando Ayala directed this film inspired by the poetry of Atahualpa Yupanqui, in a film which alternates reality with fantasy, and is based almost entirely on Argentinian folklore. The soundtrack is drawn from various ethnographic music of Argentina, and the film features spectacular scenery of Argentina.
