"Suddenly" Part of an exciting new wave of fresh, inventive films coming out of Argentina, Diego Lerman's Suddenly follows a frustrated sales girl (Tatiana Saphir) who falls in with a fesity pair of punk lesbians named Mao and Lenin (Carla Crespo and Veronica Hassan). The trio hit the road on a capricious adventure that has them car-jacking taxis, shoplifting, and seeing the ocean for the first time. Lerman doesn't try to explain his characters vagaries, but demonstrates the importance of human connection through their actions.
