"Waiting For The Messiah" This gently funny film looks at the residents of Buenos Aires' thriving Jewish community, particularly two men facing spiritual and personal crises. A young man (Daniel Hendler) begins to question his already planned future when he falls in love with his beautiful co-worker (Chiara Caselli), who is bisexual and Christian. Meanwhile, an unemployed banker (Enrique Pineyro) who lives off of reward money from returning lost and stolen wallets finds slight respite after meeting an attractive, but lonely washroom attendant (Stefania Sandrelli). Spanish with English subtitles. 97 minutes.
