Beginning in modern-day Taipei, this story is told in flashbacks to China's Cultural Revolution in 1967. John Sham Ki-fan stars as a man trying to save an ailing TV show, "Whiz Kids World," by molding a child prodigy into a chess star. With Tony Leung Ka-fai.
