In Joel Cano's gritty Cuban drama, three young women experience simultaneous upheaval. One loses her daughter in a strange and ambiguous set of circumstances, the second faces repercussions after refusing to fulfill amoral job requirements, and the third is spontaneously fired from her job on the slaughterhouse floor.
