"Two delightful short
features" (Geoff Andrew) from Eric Rohmer. In The Girl at the
Monceau Bakery (1962), a young man is drawn to a woman he admires from
afar. When she goes away, he seeks comfort in the arms of the girl in the
local bakery. Suzanne's Career (1963) follows the relationship
between two friends when they both become interested in the same girl.
This is the first part of Rohmer's Moral Tales. French with English
