Based on the Stanford Prison Experiment conducted in 1971, this chilling drama finds a journalist (Moritz Bleibtreu) involved in a scientific experiment on the effects of prison life where participants are assigned to play guards and inmates in a make-shift prison. The benign research project escalates out of control when the line between role-playing and reality becomes blurred. German with English subtitles.  119 minutes.
