A German/Yugoslavian co-production.  When a Russian soldier is stranded in Berlin after his army unit deserts, the result is a strange comedy with the unlikely setting of cold-war Berlin as a backdrop.  Inventive, irreverent and at times touching, Gorilla Sleeps at Noon was the winner of the International Critics' Prize at the Berlin Film Festival.   English, German and Russian with English subtitles.
