"Love is Colder than Death" German innovator Rainer Werner Fassbinder directed and starred in this unusual gangster story. Fassbinder plays Franz, a small-time hood torn between the woman that he loves and the gangster that has been sent after him by a local crime syndicate. Love is Colder Than Death was one of Fassbinder's first films made using his Anti-Theater company of actors and crew. Also stars Ulli Lommel and Hanna Schygulla. German with English subtitles. 85 minutes.
