Dame Maggie Smith plays a British romance novelist living in Italy who opens up her home to three others in this impressive adaptation of William Trevor's novella. While on a shopping excursion in Milan, the writer barely escapes a terrorist train bombing. Three of her fellow travelers aren't as lucky, so she invites them to her villa to heal their physical and emotional scars. Also stars Chris Cooper, Giancarlo Giannini and Timothy Spall.
