Laszlo Szabo stars as a clever but cruel occupant of a Budapest boarding house, one who exercises his exploitative skills to the hilt when the building is torn down and the tenants are allotted new living space. Always playing the role of protector of his fellow tenants, he skillfully manipulates the lot for his own goal: a bigger apartment. Also starring Margit Dayka and Agi Margittay.
