"We Never Die"
1994
Directed by Robert Koltai
This
independently produced Hungarian comedy became a runaway hit; it's full of
sharp barbs about life in the neo-Communist universe. The young hero is
turned over to his clever uncle "Juicy", who teaches him how to have fun and
survive it all with the help of grub, booze and women. The race track or the
bedroom are the places best suited to his golden rule, "Don't take life too
seriously." Hungarian with English subtitles. 90 minutes.
