Showbiz, adultery and one of the great movie scores of the '70s highlight this film starring real-life newlyweds Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri. Subeer Kumar (Amitabh) is on his way to becoming India's top pop singer when he falls in love with religious Uma (Bhaduri), enchanted by her voice. Subeer encourages Uma's singing career, but becomes jealous when it eclipses his own. Hindi with English subtitles.  125 minutes.
