Directed by Stephen Frears

Stephen Frears' small-town comedy stars Tina Kellegher as the oldest daughter of a close-knit family, who, when she gets pregnant, refuses to name the father and insists on having the baby. The secret she carries throws the town into turmoil. Scripted and based on a novel by Roddy Doyle (The Commitments), part of his "Barrytown Trilogy." Col Meaney is terrific as Kellegher's dad.  94 minutes.
