Sophia Loren is Aurora, a woman who will do anything for her son, Ciro (played by Sophia's son Edoardo Ponti), who was blinded at the age of two and has no real father. When they find out that there is a procedure that will heal him, Aurora sets out to find all the men who could be Ciro's "daddies," to help her finance the operation.
