Directed by Lamberto Bava
produced by Dario Argento, this stylish and extremely gruesome shocker has earned plenty
of admirers as well as detractors for its excesses. Two girls attend a special screening
of a horror film at an isolated Berlin cinema. The film proves to be an overwhelming force
of evil, transforming the theater patrons into demons who attack those who remain
unaffected. Director Lamberto Bava is the son of cult film legend Mario Bava. Includes
original songs by several 1980s rock acts, including Rick Springfield, Motley Crue,
the Scorpions, Billy Idol, Go West and Accept.
