Vittorio Gassman heads an abundant cast of Italian actors that include Stefania Sandrelli and Ricky Tognazzi. Also non-Italian actors like Fanny Ardant and Philippe Noiret. A note of interest: the camera never leaves the house. Italian with English subtitles.
