Misa Shimuzu gives a great performance as the lead character Sayoko, a young women who becomes entwined with two gay men having an affair. The lovers, played by Takehiro Murata and Takeo Nakahara, cannot work out their differences despite the best efforts of Sayoko. It is a story that catalogs the sexual politics of contemporary Japan without moralizing. Japanese with English subtitles.
