The emotional scars of war threaten to sabotage the marriage and career of a Korean publishing house editor who fought in Vietnam alongside American troops. A brooding intellectual, he is plagued by flashbacks of frontline battle and ultimately is forced to confront his troubled past. A different perspective on the Vietnam experience is brought to light in this South Korean drama. Winner of the Grand Prix and Best Director at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
