Abandoned by her mother, a circus performer has an incestuous affair with her dying father. He dies just as she becomes pregnant, and the other performers quickly realize the truth. Shunned, she works as a fire-eater in the streets until she is taken in by a group of wandering puppeteers. Through their performances of Old Testament stories, the religious allegories of the film become clear. Spanish with English subtitles.  90 minutes.
