Two men commit a robbery, with one escaping while the other is captured and imprisoned. The free man takes refuge on a deserted beach, where he lives out every man's fantasy by having a passionate affair with a beautiful woman. Things take a dark turn when his former partner escapes and joins them in their seaside paradise, leading to a love triangle and disaster. This was the last film directed by the acclaimed actor and filmmaker Emilio Fernandez, called "the most important single figure in Mexican cinema" by Ephraim Katz in The Film Encyclopedia.
