"Garden of Eden"
1994
Directed by Maria Novaro
Three stories intersect
at the U.S./Mexican border as three people look for family members and a
better way of life in Tijuana--a "way station" on the road to
paradise. The film shares the stories of a mother and her children, an
adventurous "gringa" looking for her brother, and a farm worker
dreaming of a brighter future. A rich, dramatic movie from the director of
Danzon. Spanish with English subtitles.
104 minutes.
