Pedro Infante stars in this melodrama set during the Mexican Revolution as General Juan Zepeda, who enters the city of Martinez accompanied by his troops and his lady soldier Lupe (Lilia Prado). He discovers an old flame there, the vamp Carlota (Chula Prieto), who's now married to the fugitive Fermin (Arturo Soto Rangel), the town's richest man. Birth, death, and love pull the two apart, but when the town is attacked by Federales, Lupe and the General must reunite to wage a fight to the end with the government troops.  112 minutes.
