"Hands Up" A legendary film, banned for
over a decade in Poland. Jerzy Skolimowski ("Moonlighting") directed this probing investigation of
a group of young physicians who recall their university days during the Stalinist period
while meeting at a class reunion. Originally completed in 1967, the film was not
released until 1981 and until the director cut it and added a new color sequence. Polish with English subtitles. |
