A USA/Russia co-production set in New York City. A young Soviet emigre studying medicine in Manhattan meets an African-American man working as a building superintendent on New York's Lower East Side, and falls in love. An interesting perspective is brought to the screen with the cityscape as a dramatic backdrop to a classic romance.  With Elena Shevchenko, Gilbert Giles, Patrick Godfrey, Gina Delio, Hayward Boling, Debra Jo Jackson and Stephen Parris.
