A classic of Spanish cinema. A neurosurgeon who was soldier during the Spanish Civil War returns to Barcelona after thirty years to find the ruins of the city replaced by a burgeoning metropolis. He searches for a nurse who nurtured him back to health during the war, but instead finds love with her daughter. Stars Manolo Brenes, Pedro Sevilla, and Salvador Gratacos.
