Told through 46 surreal, single-shot vignettes, Songs from the Second Floor follows the fractured population of a dreary Swedish town being disrupted by a series of bizarre events. A strange, macabre and perversely funny depiction of society in meltdown. Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the 2000 Cannes Film Festival. Swedish with English subtitles.  98 minutes.
