Tired of his family's stifling poverty, a young boy named Jairo gets involved with the world of crime when street kids coerce him to take part in a robbery. He takes on a job as a hired assassin - a Sicario - for a local drug lord. He becomes an expert killer, and soon is immersed in a world where anyone can kill and die for money. However, Jairo decides he's had enough: he quickly learns that there is no such thing as an easy way out.
