This inventive adaptation of a story by Emile Zola (For a Night of Love)was originally titled Manifesto and is a   USA/Yugoslavia co-production, starring Alfred Molina, Eric Stoltz, Gabrielle Anwar and Camilla Soeberg.  A guard (Molina) must protect a king who is visiting his subjects in a small town. A group of revolutionaries will stop at nothing to get the king. Seduction, misplaced faith and sheer ineptitude combine to produce this wicked, sexy comedy. 88 minutes.
